Peter Nelson, new sewer lines under the river, disturbed lots of areas but will be better than before.
Allie reminded us to check out tickets for this years Reverse Raffle. It will take place on May 16th with a goal to sell 300 tickets. To date 250 tickets were checked out and 55 have been returned with payments. As we sell them we need to bring the ticket purchaser info and funds back to Allie and Carol by May 14.
Adam shared next Monday, May 6, the Central Lakes College jazz ensemble and wind symphony will perform a concert at 7 p.m. at the Chalberg Theatre, Brainerd campus. Cost is $5 for adults, free for students.
Sarah Smith, director of Smiles for Jake, reminded us that May is mental health awareness month.

Their goal is to build lasting relationships as we elevate our skills and advance our careers. We aim to make a positive difference in our companies and communities, learning from and inspiring each other along the way.
WAVE YPN welcomes membership from all individuals aged 18-39 who live in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Cost to join is $240 per year (or $20 per month charged to a credit or debit card), which may be covered by employers as an investment in professional growth.
We want to work along side service clubs. One per month, community activities. 114 members and monthly events vary from 60 - 90. Upcoming May and June events. All are welcome, can attend 2 events for free to check them out. They also have scholarship funds to help people get involved.
