President Adam Rees chaired the meeting. He gave an update on the Rotary Park Solar Project. Brainerd Public Utilities is taking over the project and will hopefully expand it. This is great news for our club.
Adam asked for remarks regarding the meal at Change of Gavel. Members preferred a buffet style meal over a plated meal.

Speaker: Michelle Francis gave an update on STRIVE. We didn't have a STRIVE program in Pillager this year. Our numbers were down at Brainerd High School. We had 14 students sign up and only 4 met the requirements to get a STRIVE scholarship. The $5,000.00 budget was split equally between the 4 qualifying students.
Sarah Smith will be coordinating the program starting next year. Our challenges with STRIVE continue to be funding and mentors.
